In Awe Of Ireland

IAOI 12 – Anascaul

Leaving Killarney behind, and now on a tight timeline to get back to Dublin for the flight home, we decided to try to do the fourth finger of the South-West of Ireland and then head inland. the roads here were quote confusing, we made quite a few back-tracks but were now seeing the mountains from the Northerly side. It felt like we were at the end of our adventure and we both felt quite sad to be leaving Ireland behind.

We did however have one last quest to fulfil; to stand on the most westerly point of the British Isles. To stand on a piece of rock and know that between us and America lay nothing but two thousand miles of Atlantic Ocean.
